Sheally Insurance is EXPANDING!!!
I had the pleasure of photographing headshots and marketing photos for the company’s new location in Summerville today. Kaitlin was a pleasure to work with, and a natural in front of the camera! Many thanks to Allison for organizing everything and for her helpful creative input.

It’s been about 5 years since the Rice Family had an updated family portrait. I had so much fun photographing them back then…and every bit as much photographing them again last evening! 🙂
This year’s family reunion was held at the Daniel Island Club, which is a beautiful venue on Daniel Island. The Rice’s were staying at the cottages near the clubhouse. So it was super convenient for them to walk across to the croquet lawn for a shot in front of the big white gazebo. We also found some beautiful trees and a nice view down the fairway for several shots. The grand finale took place behind the property on their beautiful wooden pathway over the marsh. Then it was off to dinner at the fabulous Harry’s restaurant inside the clubhouse!
Many thanks to Matt for organizing everyone! I’m already looking forward to seeing them all again in another 5 years!!! 🙂
I had another fun photo shoot for Sheally Insurance this morning. This time I got to photograph the team at the brand new Summerville Office!

Hailey’s family has been coming to the Charleston beaches for summer vacations throughout her childhood. So it was fitting that she asked to have her senior portraits done here while they were in town!
A late afternoon shower had us worried that we might not be able to get it in. But the rains let up just a few minutes before we started, leaving us with beautiful soft light to work with!
Hailey was absolutely adorable, and such a pleasure to work with! She’s an amazing athlete, attacking soccer and lacrosse with a passion. She has an infectious smile. And she’s brimming with positive energy!
We had so much fun exploring historic downtown Charleston, coming up with a wide variety of picturesque backdrops to help make Hailey’s senior portraits unique and different from all her classmates back home! 🙂
Summer family vacations are always such a wonderful time of bonding and togetherness!
This is the third year I’ve had the pleasure of photographing the Cyrus Family during their summer trip to Kiawah Island. It’s been so much fun watching their family grow. Emma and Mason are getting to be so big! We met up at The Ocean Course during the warm glow of late afternoon light.
There were only a handful of others out enjoying the beach that night. So we pretty much had the place to ourselves to play, relax, and have another fun photo shoot together!
It was such a joy meeting and photographing Judy & Dick, who were celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary with a fun get-away to Charleston!
Aren’t they absolutely ADORABLE?!? 🙂
The Brown Family is growing!!! Little Charlie joined the family nine months ago. It was a pleasure to finally meet this beautiful young lady, and to catch up with the rest of the crew! 🙂
We picked a beautiful summer evening to meet at The Citadel Beach Club on Isle of Palms. A gentle breeze kept us cool, and kept the no-see-ums away. A receding tide left us with some picturesque tidal pools to splash and play in. Just as the sunset splashed it’s colorful rays across the sky, a full moon rose from the ocean. It was an absolutely perfect evening!
We had a BLAST and captured a wide variety of wonderful images to commemorate this year’s Wild Dunes family vacation!!!
I had so much fun with the Sessions Family during their family vacation this year! Kathleen had rented the bright yellow “Banana House” on Isle of Palms for the week. Her three kids, and all the grandkids came in to town to enjoy a wonderful time of catching up and bonding together. The adults looked a little worn out. But the kids all looked like they were having a BLAST!!! 🙂
For me, the highlight of each summer “beach portrait season” is always the week of July 4th when the beautiful Nester Family visits Seabrook Island for their annual vacation!
Having photographed Suzanna & Jeff’s wedding back in the day, it’s been an absolute honor to capture this family’s portraits each summer since then. Rick & Carol have two amazing children, who have married two wonderful partners, and given them five beautiful grandkids! I’ve had the pleasure of capturing so many changes in their lives. And they have embraced Cami and I as an extension of that family!
CONGRATULATIONS to the Nester family for another successful Seabrook Family vacation! It was such an honor to hang out and catch up with you guys again this year!!!
The extended Grindall family wasn’t able to make it this year. But I’m so glad Brian and his boys were still able to enjoy their annual family vacation to Kiawah Island! I know they are bonding and building amazing memories together. These will be the carefree times those youngsters will look back on as the “good ol’ days”!!! 🙂
