Earlier this week I had another fun photo shoot with the awesome team at Lee & Associates! We met at The Cedar Room in The Cigar Factory for some updated head-shots and group photos. I always enjoy working with this great group!!!

Lowcountry AIDS Services is now Palmetto Community Care!
Last night I had the pleasure of photographing their re-branding announcement at the picturesque Harborside East. They may have a new name. But they are still providing the same complete and compassionate HIV care and prevention services to the lowcountry.
“We believe our continued commitment to our work here in the Lowcountry will help bring an end to the HIV epidemic through increased HIV testing, prevention and education.”
For more than 25 years Palmetto Community Care’s mission has been to assist those living with HIV and AIDS by providing a full spectrum of compassionate care and support services, while busting myths, breaking down barriers and inspiring hope.

Part 2 of my assignment with Mic Smith for Knight’ Companies saw me at their facilities in Summerville. Check out Part 1 of the series at https://chrisandcami.com/aerial-drone-photography-for-knights-companies/.

Earlier this week I had the pleasure of photographing headshots and team photos for K-Con.
K-Con, Inc. is a Design-Build General Contractor offering turn-key construction & renovation/up-fit services, engineering, site preparation & installation. K-Con serves Commercial and Government entities in the local Charleston, SC area and throughout the United States. They proudly offer Government and Military building clients the advantages of GSA Federal Supply Schedule ordering nationwide.
I had so much fun photographing this amazing group. The really cool part was discovering how many connections we had in common! It turns out I photographed pre-school photos of one of the team’s sons. I also happen to be good friends with one of their good friends. But the biggest surprise was re-connecting with one of our first friends from when we moved to Charleston many many years ago! We had lost touch over the years. It was so neat to run into each other again!!!
I found everyone at the K-Con Team to be friendly, professional, accessible, and responsive. If you’re ever in need of their services, they will exceed your expectations!

Earlier this week my good friend and AMAZING photographer, Mic Smith, sub-contracted me to photograph aerial drone images for one of his clients. He was hired by Knight’s Companies to provide a fresh updated series of photographs to go with their revamped new website. As part of his team, it was my job to get beautiful aerial photos of their property and the activity there in.
Originally founded in 1969 by CEO, Michael “Bud” Knight, Knight’s Companies encompases a series of operations, all of which strive to provide quality products and service to the Charleston construction industry.

For over 3 decades, Savage Law has taken on some of the most complex, high profile criminal cases in the Lowcountry!
Earlier this week I had the pleasure of photographing some new executive portraits for Andy Savage. I’ve been photographing for this law firm over the last decade. It was great to see everyone again and to create these new head-shots for Mr. Savage!

As tax season approaches, what better way to liven up an accountant’s day than to schedule head-shots one morning, right?!?
Our photo sessions are always fun and entertaining. A good business portrait should look professional. But a GREAT business portrait should also have a sense of genuine humanity. I like to banter with my subjects to get a feel for their personality, drawing out the essence of who they really are underneath. That way their portrait isn’t just an empty “likeness” of them…but a true portrayal of who they are! Their smiles aren’t fake. They look natural and relaxed. They look confident, kind, and approachable.
Yesterday we had our annual portrait day at the Dixon Hughes Goodman accounting firm to photographing new team members. Here are a few favorites, including my silly selfie to test the lights at the beginning of the shoot. Plus I threw in some of the funny “out-takes” while we were goofing off! 🙂
If your company is looking for new head-shots, but you don’t want a boring, stuffy photo session that makes the experience a drudgery, give us a call!

Total Customized Revenue Management was formed to help hotels and resorts reach their full potential by using a customized approach to maximize revenue oportunities. With over 75 years of combined experience, TCRM understands hoteliers’ needs, and the demands of the day-to-day operation.
I had the privilege of photographing TCRM’s Annual Conference this year! All the top executives and key members of the operation gathered at the beautiful Francis Marion Hotel in historic downtown Charleston for three days of intense strategy meetings, keynote presentations, and round-table discussions. Aside from capturing the various activities, I had the honor of creating new head-shots and executive portraits of several leaders in the organization.
I truly had a great time working with TCRM. What a great group of talented individuals!!!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of capturing Bill & Julie’s vision for Workshops at Howard Heights as part of an Annual Report for the SC Community Loan Fund. From their profile at http://sccommunityloanfund.org/blog/2017/06/06/loan-closing-workshops-at-howard-heights/ we read:
SITUATION:
Bill Hussey is a custom woodworker. Bill and his wife, Julie, wanted to serve Charleston’s craftspeople by creating a shared workspace where custom makers could gather and practice their craft. The Husseys had already purchased land in the Howard Heights neighborhood and were ready to get started on construction when they approached SCCLF.
SOLUTION
Workshops at Howard Heights is situated in a neighborhood that is experiencing a rebirth, and the Husseys are committed to creating a physical space that celebrates the neighborhood’s history. SCCLF saw an opportunity to partner with a borrower who understands the role community businesses play in community development and worked closely with Workshops to finance their construction.
IMPACT
Workshops at Howard Heights is committed to honoring their neighborhood’s history while being part of it’s revitalization. Local artisans, often microbusiness owners themselves, will have a place to practice their trades. By joining the ranks of other light industrial businesses in what they call the Craftsmanship Zone, Workshops at Howard Heights is part of a movement to renew their community while fostering economic development.
Many thanks to Victoria for all her hard work in coordinating schedules, writing profiles, and making the magic happen!

It’s been my pleasure to work with the SCFCU for many years now. Everyone there is always so nice, and so much fun to work with! But more importantly, not only are we their photographer, but we’re also their customer. Cami and I do all our banking, both business and personal, with SC Federal Credit Union. If you’re looking for a new bank, we HIGHLY recommend them!!!
Yesterday, I had another photo shoot with them to update old head-shots, and photograph new head-shots for new staff members. When I was done with those, we also did a fun new group photo for the marketing team! We had a blast and came away with some great shots.
Many thanks to Rebekah for all her hard work in coordinating these photo shoots!!!

The plan has held this distinguished position since 2010. First Choice is the first health plan in South Carolina to earn NCQA’s Multicultural Health Care Distinction, which recognizes our commitment to delivering culturally competent health care, and Select Health is the only managed Medicaid plan in the state with a five-star rating for overall customer satisfaction per the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®).”
I’m thrilled to have been able to provide most of the photography for this year’s Annual Report. I’m particularly excited that the publication is up for an Aster Award…which is kind of like The Oscars when it comes to marketing material in the the world of health care. But above all, I’m honored to call Select Health one of our favorite clients to partner with!!!
