The Wild Pet Nutrition for Harbor Contracting

I recently had the exciting opportunity to photograph The Wild Pet Nutrition store, collaborating with Harbor Contracting to showcase their latest project. Located in the rapidly expanding Carolina Park neighborhood of Mt. Pleasant, The Wild Pet Nutrition is dedicated to providing high-quality, natural pet foods and supplies, ensuring that our furry friends receive the best nutrition possible.

The shoot aimed to capture the store’s inviting atmosphere and vibrant displays. I focused on highlighting the well-organized product sections, the friendly staff, and the overall charm of the store, which perfectly aligns with the brand’s commitment to pet care. Working with Harbor Contracting, we documented their impressive work in transforming this space, recognizing the thoughtful design and layout that enhance the shopping experience for pet owners.

Utilizing my trusty Nikon Z9, the Nikkor Z 14-30 and a DJI Mavic 3 Pro, I was able to capture a variety of images that reflect the essence of The Wild Pet Nutrition store. Seamon Whiteside 40th Anniversary Party at Firefly Distillery

I had the pleasure of photographing the Seamon Whiteside 40th Anniversary Party at Firefly Distillery this weekend! It was an especially meaningful occastion, since Russ Whiteside is retiring this year. One of the founding partners of the firm, Russ has been a monumental pillary in the community. He was presented with the Order of the Palmetto by Governor McMaster’s office, which is the highest honor the governor of South Carolina can bestow on a citizen! And he also received an official flag that has flown over the White House by Senator Tim Scott’s office!

ECCO for Harbor Contracting with Gritty Gal Marketing

This week I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful new project for Habror Contracting. Alex was the lead on this build for East Cooper Community Outreach (ECCO). He did an amazing job!

Founded as an emergency relief effort in 1989 after Hurricane Hugoā€™s devastation, ECCO has since grown into a permanent resource for the community with three main service areas: Assistance (essential services ECCO provides to local neighbors facing financial hardship), Guidance (the system of support provided to clients along their path to opportunity), and Resources (connecting clients to a network of community partners who can help on their journey towards achieving personal goals).

But the best part of photographing this assignment was that I got to reconnect with Jenny, who’s beautiful wedding I photographed a dozen years ago (YIKES…am I getting old?!?). Jenny and Nate were absolutely fantastic to work with back then. Fast forward to today, and Jenny runs a hugely successful firm called Gritty Gal Marketing. Tideline CPA Group for Rush Dixon Architects

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing projects for Rush Dixon Architects for several years now. Rush and Judy are the nicest people in the world. And they are always super organized…which makes my job easy! Their designs are always incredibly practical, unique, and interesting. I was particularly impressed with the way they worked the layout of the new building for Tideline around the beautiful giant live oak tree on the property!!!

Once Rush & Judy have reviewed the proofs, we’ll send their favorites off to our retouching team to remove those ugly powerlines!Ā  šŸ™‚

Marketing Photos for DWG Consulting Engineers

DWG Consulting Engineers is a 100% Employee-Owned full-service Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Communications engineering design firm in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. The firm specializes in technical, economic, and feasibility studies; assessments of existing facilities, design of HVAC systems, plumbing, fire protection, lighting, power, fire alarm, data distribution, and project commissioning. But don’t worry, they also love beer,, street tacos, office crab-walking contests, and binging shows on Netflix!

Seamon Whiteside Headshots

What a fun morning!!! It was an absolute pleasure meeting and photographing each of the new team members at Seamon Whiteside today. They are such a great group. And they always seem to hire the nicest people! In fact, I recognized Diandre, who used to work at Carolina Landscapes. I really enjoyed working with her there and photographing some of the projects she had designed for them. So I’m really looking forward to seeing what she does with her new projects for Seamon Whiteside!!!

Seamon Whiteside Surveying Team

It was a beautiful spring day for my photo shoot with Seamon Whiteside last week!

Lia had asked me to capture some marketing photos for her of their surveying team in action at the marsh near Patriots Point with the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge in the distance. After that, she wanted shots of their construction administration team that has been working on the new Residence Inn at Patriotā€™s Point. We had a BLAST and came away with a variety of colorful shots for them!

Seamon Whiteside Oyster Roast

I always enjoy working with the friendly folks at Seamon Whiteside!

From covering their employee’s headshots, to documenting their various projects, to capturing their company Christmas Party…every assignment for them is always well organized and a pleasure to photograph.

This week I had the honor of photographing their spring Oyster Roast! It had originally been planned in the fall. But Hurricane Helene had other plans!!! The new date turned out to be this beautiful spring day. It was absolutely perfect! And everyone had so much fun!!!

Headshots for Seamon Whiteside

I was glad it wasn’t quite as hot and muggy as it’s been all summer. It meant that my subjects weren’t “melting” during this morning’s photo shoot!!!

Seamon Whiteside had asked me to photograph some updated headshots for new members that had recently joined their team. Arriving a few minutes early, I scouted their courtyard for some nice backgrounds with beautiful light. As each person came out to meet me, we went through a variety of poses on several differnt backgrounds so they had lots to choose from. Everything was photographed with the Nikon Z9 + Nikkor 70-200 f2.8 Z. I had an off-camera flash with me in case I needed it. But honestly, the natural light was so nice I never even turned it on!

Seamon Whiteside Projects in Mt. Pleasant

I had to dodge a couple rain showers. But in between the drops of “liquid sunshine”, I had beautiful skies and gorgeous light for photographing several new projects for Seamon Whiteside!

I started out at the new Carolina Park Recreation Complex with their pickleball, baseball, soccer, and other sports fields. I then made my way over to the Lucy Beckham High School where SW had expanded and remodeled their baseball field. Next was the new Legacy Patriots Point Apartments, which is already 30% sold out! What a great location, with stunning views of the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge. Finally I zipped out to Isle of Palms to photograph the pool area and surrounding landscaping at the Sweetgrass Inn at Wild Dunes Resort.

Mt. Pleasant Fleet Maintenance Building

Who doesn’t like shiny new toolboxes, powerful truck lifts, and massive air hoses?!? Photographing the new Mt. Pleasant Fleet Maintenance Building recently built by Trident Construction was SO COOL!!! It was like being on a long lost episode of Home Improvement with Tim the Toolman Tailor. šŸ™‚

Headshots for Weeks & Irvine

Becca moved here to attend the Charleston School of Law. She specialized in real-estate law. And has joined the amazing team at Weeks & Irvine! It was a pleasure photographing her headshots this morning.

Not only has Bacca had a great start to her new career, she’s also getting married in 5 weeks! She and her fiance, along with 140 of their favorite friends and family, are heading to Key West to tie the knot. How fun is that? šŸ™‚
