I had so much fun photographing Ally’s high-school senior portraits yesterday!
Ally is an adorable young lady, with a beautiful smile, a bubbly personality, and tons of energy!!! Not only is she beautiful, she’s also brilliant, hoping to study Marine Biology at the University of Georgia. And to top it all off, she’s an athlete…hoping to make the college baton twirling team!
CONGRATULATIONS Ally! We wish you all the best for a bright future ahead…
Grace & Phil must be living right! After all the gloomy, soggy days we’ve had over the last couple weeks, the afternoon of their family portrait session turned out GLORIOUS!!! 
I had so much fun catching up with them, and literally “chasing after” their adorable daughter last evening. We met at The Sanctuary on Kiawah Island. The temperatures were cooler than usual from all the rains that came through, which was a nice change. Eliza has so many “looks” that I had a ball trying to capture each and every one of them. And she certainly LOVES the water! As you can tell, she wasn’t afraid to get her dress dirty…much to dismay of Grace & Phil’s dismay I’m sure, since they were meeting friends for dinner afterwards.
Adorable Eliza will turn 2 years old later this week. Help me wish her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
What a roller-coaster of emotions! It poured rain off and on all day, like someone was randomly twisting a massive spigot in the sky. Talking to Sharon every few hours, we almost cancelled the shoot several times. But ultimately we decided to give it a try. And I’m SO GLAD WE DID!!!
The skies opened up just as I pulled into their beach house on Kiawah Island. The rain had cooled things off. The lingering clouds made for an interesting sky. And the glorious sunset was icing on the cake!
We all had a blast and came away with some wonderful memories for this beautiful family and their time together!!!
Summer family vacations are always such a wonderful time of bonding and togetherness!
This is the third year I’ve had the pleasure of photographing the Cyrus Family during their summer trip to Kiawah Island. It’s been so much fun watching their family grow. Emma and Mason are getting to be so big! We met up at The Ocean Course during the warm glow of late afternoon light.
There were only a handful of others out enjoying the beach that night. So we pretty much had the place to ourselves to play, relax, and have another fun photo shoot together!
The extended Grindall family wasn’t able to make it this year. But I’m so glad Brian and his boys were still able to enjoy their annual family vacation to Kiawah Island! I know they are bonding and building amazing memories together. These will be the carefree times those youngsters will look back on as the “good ol’ days”!!!
Joy and Dr. Tim brought their beautiful family to Kiawah Island in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary! It was a pleasure photographing their family portraits on the amazing grand staircase inside The Sanctuary!!!
What an amazing treat it was to be a part of April’s Baby Christening at the beach on Seabrook Island!
April looked angelic in her delicate christening gown. Her parents, brother (Oscar the dog), uncle, and both sets of grandparents were all there to bear witness. Father Karl performed a beautiful ceremony in a peaceful setting, surrounded by nature, with the waves gently lapping at the shore behind us.
It truly was a special moment!!!

Marilyn and Steve love their kids to pieces, and are so excited to have this wonderful reunion with them on Kiawah Island. But honestly, I think they are even more excited to have some special bonding time with their adorable grandson!
We met up at The Ocean Course on Kiawah Island, near where they are staying for Spring Break. It was a beautiful evening. Little Ryan was adorable. We all had a BLAST!!! And we were rewarded with a gorgeous sunset!

Hailing from New Jersey, it was such a pleasure to photograph the Atlak Family during their “cousins summer vacation” on Kiawah Island! Although it rained and stormed most of the day, we decided to go for it that evening. We were rewarded with beautiful light and AMAZING skies. Last night was one of the prettiest evenings we’ve had in a long time! And I got to work with one of the nicest families you could ever hope to meet!!!
The Callahans have been vacationing on Kiawah Island for several years. Before this trip, Julie reached out to me about having some updated portraits made now that the kids are older. I arrived at their villa just as “Golden Hour” was beginning to cast it’s magical light on our corner of this amazing planet. The kids were in great spirits. And we all had a BLAST, capturing a variety of fun images together!
