Seamon Whiteside Columbia Office

Seamon Whiteside is expanding! I’ve photographed headshots, team photos, marketing shots, and of course a ton of their engineering projects throughout North and South Carolina. I’ve done photos at their offices in Mt. Pleasant, Greenville, Charlotte, Spartanburg…and now they are opening a new one in Columbia!

It was my pleasure to meet up with the founding members of the new Columbia office at The Horseshoe on the University of South Carolina Campus (USC). We strolled around, found some nice backdrops, captured a variety of headshots, and photographed some team photos. Plus one of the guys from the Charlotte office joined us to get his headshot taken as well!

Many thanks to Brittany for helping organize everyone’s schedules to make this happen…

Headshots for Elliott Davis

Photographing headshots yesterday for Elliott Davis, one of my favorite clients, was an absolute blast!

Working with the individuals at Elliott Davis is always a delightful experience. I arrived early to find a picturesque backdrop for us to use. The morning light was gorgeous. And everyone was so much fun! I couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable session. And I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue collaborating with such a talented and inspiring team!

SCRA 40th Anniversary Headshots

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing updated headshots, a team photo, and other marketing images to help SCRA celebrate their 40th Anniversary!!!

The South Carolina Research Authority is a public, non-profit corporation chartered in 1983 by the State of South Carolina. Their mission is to fuel South Carolina’s innovation economy by accelerating technology-enabled growth of academia, entrepreneurship, and industry.

Many thanks to Yolanda for helping organize everyone’s schedules!!!

New CEO at South Carolina Community Loan Fund

Earlier this week I had the pleasure of photographing Nate, the new CEO at the South Carolina Community Loan Fund!

I met up with him outside their new office in Columbia. He is such a kind and gracious human being…full of fascinating stories from all of his world travels. I particularly loved his tales of climbing Huayna Picchu, the steep mountain peak overlooking Machu Picchu.

We had a great time and captured a variety of images for their newsletter.

Headshots for Clawson & Staubes in Columbia

I always enjoy working with Clawson & Staubes, photographing marketing material, images for their website, and headshots of new attorneys.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing Deidra at the Columbia office! She graduated from the University of South Carolina law program. So we decided to meet at The Horseshoe, a famous lawn on the USC Columbia campus with tons of beautiful backdrops to choose from. I had a great time getting to know Deidra as we walked the campus and captured a wonderful variety of images for her to choose from.

(All images shot with Nikon D5, Nikkor 70-200 f2.8, Nikon SB5000 Speedlight, Godox softbox, Manfrotto supports, and Sony XQD memory.)

Please help me welcome this wonderful young lady to the Clawson and Staubes team!!!

Piecewise Coffee Co

Yesterday I had the distinct honor of photographing Stan and Lindsey, the brains behind Piecewise Coffee Co in Columbia, SC. I was there to create images on behalf of the SC Community Loan Fund to tell their amazing success story.

Naturally, I arrived early to see what the experience was all about. Walking in, I was immediately hit with this wonderfully warm and vibrant atmosphere. This is clearly a place where “happy people” roam. I enjoyed an amazing cup of Chai tea with an organic gluten-free chocolate chunk cookie that was to die for!

Afterwards I introduced myself and we began shooting. Stan and Lindsey were absolutely fantastic to work with! We had a BLAST getting to know each other, and creating these beautiful images to go with the article.

I’d like to send out a HUGE Thank You to Victoria at SCCLF for trusting me to cover this assignment! And I’d like to say CONGRATULATIONS to Stan and Lindsey on following your dreams!!!
