Every year, one family session stands out from the rest. We always look forward to the annual Stein Family photo shoot! You guys are THE BEST!!! 🙂

What a fun evening with one of our FAVORITE families!!! Many thanks to the Gadol Family for enduring the gnats and no-see-ums to capture these wonderful family portraits on Folly Beach. And a special thanks for treating us to dinner with you guys afterwards! 🙂

This weekend I had the pleasure of photographing the Rowland Family on John’s Island. To see more of their photos, visit: http://chrisandcami.zenfolio.com/p808783292.
Ronald’s brother is the priest at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. So we met there to use their beautiful gardens as the backdrop to our fun photo shoot. It was absolutely GORGEOUS!!!
Their daughter, Kathy, who organized everything as a gift to their parents, said they have never had a professional family portrait done together. I was truly honored to capture these precious memories for this wonderful, kind, and loving family!

From photographing Joe & Louisa’s wedding, to capturing Geer’s 1-Year Cake Smashing, it was a real joy to meet the newest addition to their family!
Leila is an absolute joy, such a happy kid, and so much fun to be around. We photographed an entire family session at Hampton Park, and she never got tired or fussy once!!! At the end of the shoot, Grandma Felicia brought out this cute little cake and we let Leila go to town. 🙂
CONGRATULATIONS Joe & Louisa! You two are truly blessed to have these beautiful, healthy, and happy children in your lives!!!

One of my favorite parts about being a photographer for so many years, is watching families grow!
I’ve known the Hayes family for many many years! I first met Connie and Richard at High-Purity Standards. At the time, their son and daughter, Scott and Megan, were in college. When Megan met Craig, I was truly honored when they asked me to photograph their wedding! When Hudson was born, it was a pleasure to meet him and photograph a NEW family portrait. This weekend, I finally got to update that portrait with the addition of their beautiful little girl, Henley!
It’s such a special feeling when my favorite friends stay in touch over the years, and allow me into their lives to capture these beautiful milestones!!!

Reid is one of my FAVORITE “creative collaborators” in Charleston!!! She is so artistic and has such a great sense of humor!
One day while out exploring on my motorcycle, I found this amazing old church ruins with a decaying piano in the middle of the sanctuary. I pitched the idea of a fun fashion shoot to Reid. She loved it! Wrangling her three beautiful daughters, Sydney, Jackie, and Trinity to model for us, the game was on. They brought their beautiful pet boa constrictors, great props like the vase of old dead roses, and some outlandish outfits from places like Goodwill and who-knows-where!
We had an absolute BLAST and came away with a fun collection of images. Many thanks to Reid and our three gorgeous models!!!

The Zaw Family has been in Charleston for 15 years. But they are originally from Myanmar (Burma). In the next few months, they will be traveling back to their home country to introduce Bennett to the rest of their extended family. Before they left, they wanted to capture some fun family portraits in their NEW home of Charleston! How cool is that? I had so much fun working with Bennett. He is still in his oh-so-adorable age! Is he not the CUTEST KID EVER?!? 🙂 It was an honor and a pleasure to meet his parents, his grandmother, and his three amazing uncles!

It’s been several years now since I last photographed the Haik Family. I was absolutely THRILLED when they called to let me know they were coming back to Wild Dunes and wanted some updated family beach portraits! The best news of all was finding out that their oldest daughter is engaged! CONGRATULATIONS Miranda & Mason!!!

Check out the AMAZING time I had with the Hadden’s last weekend!!! 🙂
It’s been my honor to photograph this beautiful family since capturing Lisa & Clay’s gorgeous wedding celebration at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church several years ago. For this session, we decided to start out in front of St. Michael’s with its beautiful black iron gates and those old red brick walls. The circle is complete!
We then headed over to historic Washington Square Park for the natural greenery and the amazing late-afternoon light that comes flooding through that eccentric park in the heart of downtown.
For the grand finale, we couldn’t pass up the longest cobblestone street in Charleston! Chalmers Street provided a charming backdrop for some fun moments and fond memories.
CONGRATULATIONS Lisa & Clay! Your growing family gets even more precious every time I see them!!! 🙂
