This is where I frantically ingest CF cards and edit images for the FCC and WTA. But the highlight of my day was being the exclusive photographer covering Bethanie Matteck-Sands as she warmed up with the Charleston Riverdogs and threw out the first pitch for tonight’s game. Bethanie was married in November…I’m bummed she didn’t call me to be her photographer…HA! She’s the third highest ranked American in the tournament, behind Serena & Venus Williams. So come on out and cheer her on!
My two favorite shots are the “Captain America” pose on the pitcher’s mound and the “Reflections” shot of her in the sunglasses worn my the Channel 4’s news reporter.

Our friends Chris & Vickie were down visiting from Pittsburgh this weekend. They brought their beautiful little girl with them…first time we’d had a chance to meet her. She’s a real bundle of JOY! I asked them if there was a special form they had to fill out with the Big Man Upstairs in order to get the “good kind”. š
Cami and I have an AMAZING accountant, friend, and fellow tennis enthusiast. Her name is Kristin and she has the most ADORABLE little girls. While they were vacationing in a cabin at James Island County Park, Cami and I joined up with them one evening to photograph the little ladies. Fun stuff!

Kerri & Wes met up with me at Folly Beach on a windy but GORGEOUS day for their e-Session! They brought their beautiful black lab with them and I had a lot of fun playing Frisbee with him between squeezing off frames. š Kerri is a gymnastics instructor…can you tell by her elegant posing? Wes used to play in a band…so we’re kindred artists at heart. We had this really AMAZING sky at the end of the shoot and got some dramatic images before the light faded away.
Hope with Adventures in Charleston is always so organized and fun to work with. I got to work with her on this corporate golf event for Kurtzman Carson Consultants. They were a terrific group of folks. I hope I brought them a little luck on those difficult Kiawah Island greens! š
Nicole & Vince are my DREAM COUPLE!!! The day of their Engagements Session the weather was kind of rainy and overcast. But they were troopers and said “Let’s go for it”! We ended up having the BEST time and getting the coolest images. Since all the streets, brick walls and iron gates were wet from the earlier rain, the colors were super saturated and really popped! I love how everything turned out…
The Magnolia Gardens Autobahn Swamp is a hotbed of activity these days. Breeding plumage is on full display, nests are under construction, and the procreation of life is on defcon 5 for these avians. Spring is in the air!
