Charleston Trident Association of Realtors at Hyatt House Charleston

I love working with the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors!!!

When Jessie from CTAR asked me to cover their women’s conference at Hyatt House Charleston, I jumped at the chance! Not only were they going to be inducting new board members, but their keynote speaker was none other than Dale Smith Thomas. Her message of being a winner by choice is so powerful, and delivered with such great humor, it just sticks with you. Everyone left with that evening with smiles on their faces, and a real “go get-em” attitude! If you get a chance, check out www.winnersbychoice.com and go see this powerful motivational speaker any chance you get!

Many thanks to all the CTAR staff and all the vendors for making this event possible!

The 3rd and final day of the 19th International Marketing Conference and 62nd Annual Membership Meeting at the Hyatt Regency in Greenville was a time to celebrate!

All the Advisory Team Leaders shared the progress reports and final results from their intense break-out meetings. Recognition Awards for exemplary service were handed out to deserving recipients. And final words of inspiration were shared before the conference was finally adjourned.

It was an absolute pleasure being back in person, photographing another fabulous event for the US Grains Council!

US Grains Council 19th International Marketing Conference – Day 0

Following two years of cancellations, postponements, virtual, and hybrid meetings, the US Grains Council was finally back to having in-person meetings!

The 19th International Marketing Conference and 62nd Annual Membership Meeting was held at the Hyatt Regency Greenville. The Greenville downtown area has been completely revitalized over the last decade. It’s a beautiful city, with tons to offer. And this year’s conference was held right in the middle of it!

Arriving in town the day before the conference began, I was able to photograph a wonderful reception hosted by the outgoing chairman of the board, Jim Raben. It was a wonderful evening at Jack n’ Diane’s Dualing Piano Bar. Spirits were high as everyone re-connected with one another, and prepared for the 3 days of intense presentations and meetings that lay ahead.

Hyatt Place Grand Opening

Hyatt Place Hotels & Resorts is having the Grand Opening of their 150th company wide location.  And it’s right here in Charleston next week!  I’ve shot for Judy, their new Director of Sales, before when she was with another company.  So it was wonderful of her to remember me and call to ask if I’d continue working with her and photograph their opening ceremony next week!  But before then, they needed a photo of the new hotel to use in promoting the big event.  So I zipped up there last night and got this dramatic image right at dusk.  Sure I got a few funny looks from folks driving by…but standing on the roof of my SUV, parked on the sidewalk, in the drizzly rain, with my tripod and camera, was the only way to get the angle I wanted.  J
