I had so much fun photographing the Strawbridge Family this week!!!
We lucked out with a beautiful evening, cooler than usual temperatures, with a light breeze, and soft golden-hour light. We all met at the end of Waterfront Park and meandered through some of the beautiful old historic neighborhoods South of Broad, along Charleston Harbor. We explored the cobblestone streets of South Adger’s Wharf, the ivy-covered brick walls in the French Quarter, and the colorful buildings of Rainbow Row, while capturing a wide variety of family portraits.
Jenelle had contacted me last month about their plans to vacation on Isle of Palms. I especially loved that Zeke’s parents would be joining us. Memories from my own family’s reunions, and spending time with my grandparents, are very special to me. So I’m glad Janelle & Zeke’s teenage kids were able to spend quality time with their grandparents.
I truly enjoyed getting to know this beautiful family. And we all had a great time together before they headed off to enjoy something sweet at Kaminsky’s Dessert Cafe! 🙂
