SCCPMA Sponsored by Coca Cola Consolidated

This weekend I had the pleasure of setting up our Family Portrait Station for the annual SCCPMA event at the Sweetgrass Inn, Wild Dunes Resort!

The South Carolina Convenience and Petroleum Marketers Association (SCCPMA) is a non-profit trade group based in Columbia, SC. It represents convenience store owners, fuel distributors, and industry suppliers. SCCPMA formed on January 1, 2020, by merging two historic groups: the South Carolina Association of Convenience Stores (founded in 1976) and the South Carolina Petroleum Marketers Association (founded in 1919). The organization represents the industry in front of local and state lawmakers to protect business interests, hosts training sessions to help workers stay up to date on safety rules, and offer college scholarships for employees and their families.

Our Portrait Station was sponsored for the group by Coca Cola Consolidated. Many thanks for their support! And a HUGE shout-out to Donna for organizing everything!!!

I set up my Nikon Z9, Nikkor Z 24-70 f2.8 II, and two Godox AD200 flashes outside in the shade of the pool deck, where the palmetto trees provided a nice lowcountry backdrop. Photos were captured on a Lexar XQD card, then transfered to a laptop inside for printing on the DNP dye-sublimation printers. My good friend, Gary, had joined me on this assignment to provide the image-management and printing services. The 5×7 portraits were then mounted in an elegant black folio, and placed on a display table for guests to take home as party-favors. Everyone LOVED the instant gratification of having their portraits delivered that same evening!!!
