I always enjoy working with great local businesses, and I was delighted to have the opportunity to photograph the team at J. Henry Stuhr Funeral Home here in Charleston, SC! I was hired by my good friend Jenny at Gritty Gal Marketing, who does an amazing job helping businesses with their social media and marketing.

The assignment included team photos, individual headshots, and portraits of the leadership team, all for marketing purposes as Stuhr moves through a rebranding effort and develops a new website. It was a pleasure working with their team to create professional, approachable images that reflect the people behind this well-known Charleston institution.

J. Henry Stuhr Funeral Home has been serving Lowcountry families since 1865, when Henry D. Stuhr established the business. Now in its fifth generation of family leadership, Stuhr has grown from its humble beginnings into a respected funeral service provider throughout the Charleston area. Their longevity is a testament to the importance of family, community, and a commitment to caring for others during life’s most difficult moments. That’s a pretty remarkable legacy!
