Helen & Bob at Rutledge House and Circa 1886

Helen & Bob visited Charleston last May, realizing it was the perfect place for them to seal their vows together. She’s a lover of old homes, gardens, and graveyards. He’s a huge history buff, particularly Civil War era. Plus being from Seattle, the warm weather was icing on the cake!  🙂

Last week, they were married in the beautiful ballroom at “America’s Most Historic Inn”, the John Rutledge House. Twenty-four of their nearest and dearest friends and family came from all over the globe, including Bob’s sister and her husband hopping the pond all the way from England.

Following tea & lemonade on the patio after the ceremony, everyone boarded horse-drawn carriages for a short tour en-route to Circa 1886, behind the Wentworth Mansion.  After cocktails, and before dinner, Helen & Bob joined me in the Cupola on top of the Wentworth Mansion for a few final portraits as the sun slipped below he horizon.

Dinner was absolutely gorgeous. Each course was not only delicious, but a work of art. Live piano music floated softly in the background while lively conversation filled the air. The excitement of the day filled everyone’s hearts to over-flowing.  To see the rest of their images, head over to www.chrisandcami.zenfolio.com.

CONGRATULATIONS Helen & Bob!!!
