GBA Architecture is a multi-disciplinary architecture, planning, and interior design firm based in Charleston, South Carolina. Founded in 1981, the firm specializes in sustainable, community-driven design across the Southeast, creating a diverse portfolio of custom homes, commercial spaces, and educational facilities.

This week I had the pleasure of photographing a new uplift project GBA completed for the Beemok office in downtown Charleston. Beemok is a Charleston-based investment and operational group founded by businessman and philanthropist Ben Navarro. Spanning multiple divisions, its purpose-driven portfolio focuses on community enrichment through hospitality, sports, entertainment, health, and finance. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing the Credit One Charleston Open over the past few decades, which is in the Beemok portfolio. And I’ve enjoyed assignments at Charleston Place, The Cooper, American Gardens, Sorelle, and The Riviera…which are all under the wing of the Beemok Hospitality Collection.
