Winning the Family Circle Cup Media Tournament

During the Family Circle Cup, Mike Saia, the Communication Manager for the tournament, organizes a fun competition among all the media folks covering the event.  Most of the photographers, writers, bloggers, announcers, and support staff in the Media Tent are also tennis fans who play on a recreational level.  I didn’t play this year.  It’s always EARLY Saturday morning before the “Real” players go on court.  But I was up so late photographing and editing images Friday night, that I just didn’t have it in me.  So this year I arrived in time to photographed the new Media Tournament Champions, which you can see at http://chrisandcami.com/blog/2011/04/09/family-circle-cup-media-tournaent/.  However, my good friend and colleague, Douglas Cunningham, send me some nice memories he had photographed when Leslie and I won the event a couple years ago.  🙂  Thanks for sharing these, Douglas!

Didn't realize you were such a 'hardcore' tennis player Chris. :-) Nice work.

Hey Tom! Yup...played College Soccer & Tennis. Now I'm too old and out of shape to play "Foot" as we called it in the Congo. So Tennis is my drug of choice. :-)
