On my way home from a family portrait session on Kiawah Island, the tide was high, and the herons were out fishin’. It was my last assignment for the day. The overcast day made for soft, saturated light.  So I pulled over and enjoyed the beautiful marsh and all the activities until the scene was enveloped by darkness.
