I always enjoy photo shoots at the Daniel Island Club. It’s such a beautiful venue with so many great backdrops!

A few days ago I met up with the Rice Family at the club, where their dad is a member. Some of the family had traveled from around the country to be here for their summer reunion. It was AWESOME to see everyone together and having a great time!

We had another one of those late afternoon thunderstorms that Charleston summers are known for. But we suspected that a clear window would open up afterwards, and decided to stick to our plans. Sure enough, it was raining when I arrived…but five minutes later it stopped and the skies cleared for a beautiful evening!

Best of all, the lingering cloud formations made for an unforgettably dramatic backdrop for our final shots together!!!
